John T. Humphrey, CG, was an award winning author and president of the Mid-Atlantic Germanic Society and vice president of the Genealogical Society of Pennsylvania. Mr. Humphrey, authored a fourteen-volume set listing early Pennsylvania births. He specialized in German research at the Library of Congress, the National Archives, and record repositories in eastern Pennsylvania and southwestern Germany. He lectured frequently at national, regional and local conferences.  Mr. Humphrey passed away in Washington, D.C. on Sunday, August 12, 2012.
